American Heart Month Webinar: Coronary Artery Disease

February 8 @ 12:00 pm CST

Free
American Heart Month Feature

In partnership with DSS and Restorative Formulations, speaker Dr. Decker Weiss will share his unique strategies and perspectives on cholesterol, as well as the underlying role of oxidative stress and inflammation, to slow the progression of coronary artery disease. He’ll present cases and profile top ingredients that protect vulnerable lipid particles, including LDL, HDL, and phospholipids, to help avoid coronary artery disease.

CAD is a progressive arterial disease caused by a gradual plaque build-up in the vessels that feed blood to the heart. When calcium collects in the arteries, it causes the blood vessels to narrow and leads to stenosis and heart disease. The prime culprit of plaque is oxidated LDL, which is also implicated in metabolic syndrome.

After this co-sponsored webinar, you’ll be able to register for a series of certification courses in cardiology principles offered by Restorative Formulations beginning in March.
